Mother’s Day

“Happiness is seeing your mother smile.”

This Sunday, we celebrate Motherhood. Moms come in all shapes, sizes, and personalities. While every mother in the world is unique, they all have one thing in common. They all do the best they can — the best they know how.

This Mother’s Day, remember that parenting is hard, and life is not a greeting card. Let’s celebrate all mamas everywhere!

Happy Mother’s Day!

Happy Mother’s Day to the happy moms, the sad moms, the tired moms, and the lonely moms. To the moms who work outside the home and to the moms who stay home with their children.

To the soon-to-be moms, the new moms, and those longing to become moms. To grandmothers, mothers-in-law, and godmothers — Happy Mother’s Day.

To those who stand in for moms, the moms who adopt children, and the moms who foster children. To the moms who are separated or estranged from their kids — Happy Mother’s Day.

To the moms who have strong, loving bonds with their children and those moms who have difficult mother/child relationships. To the moms in hospitals and to the moms in prisons — Happy Mother’s Day.

To the moms who bake cookies and the ones who bring cookies from the store. To the moms who can “do it all” and the ones barely hanging on — Happy Mother’s Day.

To mothers who give up their children and to moms who have their children taken away. To moms who adopt children, to moms who foster children and to those who choose not have children — Happy Mother’s Day.

To young moms, to older moms, to grandmothers, mothers-in-law, and godmothers. To single moms, stepmoms, LGBTQA2+ moms, and fur-baby moms — Happy Mother’s Day.

To all moms everywhere — Happy Mother’s Day!
